What info do I need to order parts?
For Tractor parts, you will need the "Model Number" and year of production. The model number is what is on the decal on the side of the machine. i.e. 616, 718D, 721D, 928 etc.
The year of production can be determined by the serial number, which is located on the frame under the seat. (the second digit of the serial number is the year produced. i.e. 585521 would be '88 or '98)
For Deck parts, you will need to know the "Model Number" and the year of production. The model number is located on an identification tag on the deck. The year of production is derived from the serial number located on the same plate. The width of cut is always the last two digits of the deck model number. i.e. a 9661 is a 61" deck.
